Let me idiot proof it then considering how helpful you have been. The unique Gilded shield, Herald of Zakarum when upgraded becomes a Zakarum shield. Which then has a strength requirement of 142, and the Base chance to block to 52%.

Just confirming if this was right.


P.S. Poopy Thanks for your insightful, helpful, childish nature. Not sure what we would do without it.

Yes, HoZ is upgradable.

but if hoz blocking rate dropt o 52 is it means that I would need to put more in dex. Also I got a 185% hoz sucketed with um if I uped is the umed going to dispear? Can some one plz tell me.

Once again I must refer you to The Arreat Summit.

Before I do, though, I'd like you to think about the +30% increased chance of blocking that a HOZ has as a mod.

Can some one plz tell me.HoZ Increased Chance To Block is a Mod. Mods are not lost in the upgrade, just the base item properties (def, base chance to block, requirements) are changed.

Upgrading items preserves both the sockets already in the item plus any gems/jewels/runes in that item. So you can upgrade runewords as well.

False. Only unique and rare items can be upgraded.Quite correct, got confused with a d2 mod where you can upgrade them.
