To transfer my saved games from one machine to another...I've been playing on D2 on my wife's computer while waiting to rebuild mine, now that it is rebuilt I want to move over my saved games. I tried copying the "saved" folder to the new install but when I run the game none of the saved characters show up....I think I was able to do this before, but I don't remember how.

I take it your talking about single player?
If so, try posting something on the SP forum

Check what patch you have installed, and make sure they're the same...you can load older version characters onto a newer version game, but not the other way around, the older version game can't recognize a newer version character. Hope this helps.
