Yes there is. In the one that started this thread, the 3rd line from the bottom reads:

whereas the one from the place that does not exist reads:

"Welcome to The Isle of Misfits troop."

Hey all,

Just would like to give a big thanks to Way, Sky, and Kyle for helping get my sin into the ladder. My 1st check was when I finally passed the threshold and held # 197 then after several more runs... I finally lvled, Psuedo_Pax is now 89. And as of this moment is currently sitting @ 188. Right above me is a CDC member, and I think that person is LuckyDwarf... not positive tho.

Psuedo_Pax also happens to be my HIGHEST char.... coming 2nd is my 88 FO / Tlkz Sorcy : FrosTeD_SceNe

Well, 2morrow is FRIDAY... and this SUNDAY is my bro's wedding... he's 31, and looky is a LEAP YEAR... so his wedding will fall on the 29th of February....... I'm taking the next day off from work, b/c I know I'm not gonna be in ne mood - both physically and mentally to be @ work.

Well tonight will be the last night of playtime on this old crappy computer. Saturday friend is coming over and we are putting my new beast together. Should take about 2 hours or so, because with this case there are about 7 fans all together, so im not real shure were they all plug into, but after we figure that out it will be a peice of cake. Then we have to install windows. Wich should take to long...i meen cmon its windows, they act like you are a 3 y/o using a computer most of the time, so that shouldnt be to hard. Then it looks like sunday will be spent all day d/ling driver. Then monday i will get to try out my new rig. I cant wait. But untill then i get to sit and look at all of the stuff sitting on the floor in my room. O well

Well he calls back and says there maybe a problem, his dad is in milasia(sp?) for his work, and he thinks he took the win xp cd's with him to milasia, but he is gana look. Well he calls back about 10 mins ago, and says that he can find the cds in his house anywere, but he emailed his dad asking if they were there, or if he took them with him. Soooo hes on his way over right now, and i guess we are gana put the dang thing together, and wait for that email from his dad. If we dont get it soon, im just gana shell out the 150$ for win xp proffesional i guess because im tired of waiting to use this computer.

The place your friend's Dad is prob Maylasia, its a small island in the East near the Phillipines (where I am from)...

I actually used to live in Maylasia for a little while... maybe 3 years or so..

Why do u want to use Win XP for? Don't u have a copy of Win ME around?

I myself would use ME over XP... just my choice.

More than a few of you helped to rush me through softcore, and were helping with my first HC char, Dolceros. I am sorry to report she died today, at level 43.

I was leveling in Act I Nightmare with Walt, and then later, with my brother, Ed. I was actually helping Ed when he "dropped for a timeout" - i still don't know what that means - and I was alone in the Dark Wood. We had just killed a huge pack, and I was walking around looking at the drops. A couple of smaller minions walked up and I was handily destroying them with frozen orb, when along came Threadfoot? i think. When I realized I was losing, it was too late. I hit the rejuv..... :hanky: .....and at the same time...... :hanky: .......well, my deeds will be remembered.

2day was a fun day to DIE.... Since my sin is doing well on the sin ladder... I decided to dust off my necro, he started the day off @ 50. After several pub NM Baal runs... he took off and got all the way to 68.

1 of the Baal runs was pretty nasty... took a tp to WSK 3... went down the stairs after anohter sin went down. There was a nice pack of blood lords and frenzytaurs down there.

Since I have juvs in all my belt slots... I popped a full juv and survived.


Then 3 games l8... there was some discussion of a sorc going to tele... but that took a while. In my deprived mind, I went down to WSK 2 WP... walked near the bridge and got hit by 12 lightning bolts. most likely from Fant Gloams.. etc.

I was kinda peeved that happened, but also glad that I didn't xfer much to him. Lost a 34 Viper / Leorics / Trang Gloves... etc. Luckily, I didn't xfer the marrows and some other goodies.

After 10 secs of seeing the DEEDS screen... I just had to laugh. I guess Bnut, has vowed that I will never ever have a hghend necro.

Last night, someone that was Baaling with Sky and I got deeds. For whatever reason, I take it very personal when someone dies in one of my games. Its weighed on me that I let this person down... so I wanted to set some expectations about what happens on one of our runs.

1. We get BO in Durance 2 first... please take advantage of it.

2. I tele to the throne room and open a portal in a spot that's as safe as I can find. Keep in mind that the throne room is full of creatures at this point. Many times, when I stop to open a portal, creatures will swarm to the portal (dolls especially). The monsters in the throne room can hurt, so if your character isn't ready to be there, don't rush through the portal as soon as I open it. Especially if you didn't take advantage of #1 above. I'll be glad to let you know when the throne room is cleared if you ask.

3. Sky comes down when I open the portal and we proceed to clear the throne room. Feel free to assist, but understand #2 above.

4. Kill minions

5. Kill Baal

6. Stare at nice items on ground. (hopefully)

7. Share bounty

I'm writing this because I don't know if the person that got deeds thinks I sent him a hot tp on purpose, which I would never do. I'll admit that the tp ended up being hotter than I planned, but thats why I tell people my tp is not always 100% safe when its first opened.

I've got a serious problem with my character screen. It seems the damage is being reflected very differently in similar situations. Hopefully someone can explain this to me. I'm using a sin that is dual claw. I'll break down the two situations here:
Dual claws equipped, Lionheart armor ON:
1. When I hit 'w' to go from no claws to dual claws. Damage reflects: 1830
2. When I remove Lionheart armor, damage reflects: 1706

Now the weird part. If I hit 'w' to switch from no claws to dual claws without Lionheart armor on the damage shows: 1049 for the dual claw weapon switch. I put the Lionheart armor back on, and the damage says: 1137

What is going on here??? I'm sure it has something to do with how the damage is calculated and when, but which # is correct? If I leave the game and go into the next one, the damage continues to reflect 1137 until I hit 'w' and go back to dual claws. Is this the buggiest screen ever or what??

If you havn't had anybody look at this before i get home from work Kev (About 1 1/2 hours from now) i'll take alook for you.

Something that might be related (May have been fixed with the 1.10 patch). If you equiped skill charms EG: Offensive to boost Fanta, your listed damage would increase as expected, however if you then removed said charms, your listed damage stayed as if you were still equiping said charms. This only changed if you switched weapons or aura's.

Anyway, hope everyone had a good weekend. I spent alot of it working in the attic of my house. My amazon found 2 Dwarf Stars over the weekend :) My barbarian is still only level 27 since he's been spending much of his time trying to get levels for his Rogue mercenary. She's now 22, I believe. Still doesn't get much exp from Bloody Foothills so been running around Act 4 letting her get the kills. Not going too quickly, though :(

It's all about perspective. I know a few people who would LOVE to work the next 4 days but they are unemployed. Also, pretty much any day that you wake up and are alive is a happy day in my opinion. Take nothing for granted.

Had a great time playing this weekend..Way and I got a chance to play with Slint,Who we haven't seen since 1.09 cows, Dubby whom we had played an Ironman with but never really met and Kar who we had just met..Was great meeting and playing with you all.. I just have to remember the next time we all play I need to get a bigger loin cloth...:wink2:

Hello Misfits

I may as well be like everyone else and say Welcome Back Neo ! ;P


Thought I would tell everyone about our exciting night last night . We went to bed and set the alarm like usual.But this time we were woken at 3:30 AM by a Fire Alarm :rant:

So We both fly out of bed ,and Billy ( 4 year old ) starts screaming because the sound is scaring him.Devin (3 year old ) is still laying in bed trying to fall back asleep (lol..) Bill goes out in the hallway and Im trying to get the kids dressed in their coats etc.

I can hear Bill out in the hall yelling at someone and the landlady hysterically yelling back ( im not sure what her nationality is ,but she can barely speak a sentance of english )

He comes back in and tells me the apartment 2 doors away ,Its door is wide open and it has a blanket of fire going accross its ceiling . This suite has been empty for a few weeks as the lady who lived there just up and moved one night without telling anyone.

So all the tenants are rushing out side in their PJ's with their cats and Bill gets me and the kids to sit in the car while he goes back in to help the old people out :p .

Our neighbor comes up to the car to put his cat in the car so it wont run away ,But when he was trying to put it down it booked it down the road faster than anything :(

So 7 !! fire trucks show up about 2 minutes later and get to work.(Also 3 police cars ,2 Ambulances and one paramedic / fire cheif) They called a transit bus for all the tenants to sit in while they are waiting . It took about 2 hours before they let everyone in ,but since we (and 3 other tenants ) live in the basement ,witch was now flooded with water we were only aloud to go in and get some stuff then we had to find elsewhere to sleep for the rest of the morning. ( Even though our suite ,and the lady accross the halls' as we are at the frount of the building and the fire was at the back...The water didnt reach this far .. Dont know why we couldnt have just stayed)

We ended up going to Bills parents for the morning ,as did the lady from accross the hall.

No one was hurt , hopefully the run away cat will come back .The hall way stinks of smoke though . I went down and looked at the suite ,the entire place is burnt up ,looks like it must have been burning for a while before the alarm went off ( good thing its a brick building ...). Aparently someone set the bed in that suite on fire.In the past month we have had the garbage bin set on fire 5 times also !

Another thing that has happened since that lady pulled her midnight move was ,when she left ,she put a towel in the kitchen sink and left the water running which flooded the entire suite and the hall way before anyone realized she had moved out.And she left behind 15 cats ! Now for what ever reason some one would do this is beyond me =P I guess not all little old ladies are sweet as pie.

Well ,Im done my ranting.I dont usually make long posts ,so I hope you all enjoyed it ! lol
