Spam during games

[Gaming at work]

I'm probably not alone when I say this is by far the most annoying thing I've ever encountered in my almost 20 years of video games. Is there anything I can do besides create passworded games? :scratch:

Use level limits when you make public games. In games... well.....

If a spammer joins your game, bring up the party screen and click the squeltch button. Quiets em right down, for me...

Actually, I've been in a few games where the bots will say a sentence, so you squelch them, then exit, only to re-enter right away and spam the rest of their message.

Is Blizzard trying to do anything about them, or are we going to be bombarded even more by these "we've got 1337 ite3ms!!!1!1one" bastards...

What i do is go into the game menu, click on one of the options...configure controls maybe, and down one side it has 'clear messages'.

Set a letter next to this (i used z) and when someone is spamming, just hit 'z' and it will all disappear.
