View Full Version : Best weapon for HOTO and CTA?

What's the best weapon to use for HOTO and CTA for a Trapassasin/Melee assasin?

A friend of mine uses a flail for HOTO and an Ettin axe for CTA, good choice or is there something even better to look out for?

Bear in mind I want suggestions for both builds (Trap/Melee)

CTA can be used as an actual weapon, so put it in something elite that you could use on whatever builds you have.

HoTo is best pt in a normal flail for lower reqs.

I personally like phase blades.

Well what type of melee assassin is this? A kicker? A Tiger Strike sin? Also is this for pvp or pvm? As a general rule of thumb the Hoto is better used in the Flail for lower reqs as another posted before me. Now for CtA that depends on the type of assassin your going to be.

No idea really, give me your humble opinion which melee kicker is the best and is versatile all around (Both PvM and Pvp)

Well a Dragon Talon kicker would probably be best overall. In this case I wouldn't recomend you use a cta for your weapon, just use it for the BO. You could use a claw such as chaos (good for kicking) and still have good trap damage, but I don't know how that would work in PvP. Doom and Beast are also viable options as they each benefit kicks and traps. The biggest problem I see you facing for pvp would be the cast rate for your mind blast, but in PvM you should own =)
