What in tarnation is this?

hey all. since necros are my fave character, i'll ask this in this forum. i was surfing the other day, and came across website called spynets.com, or something like that. it is a site listing thousands of cheats for thousands of pc games, xbox, psII, etc. both new and old games. anyway, i never played dII before 1.09, so maybe this is old school stuff. here goes:

Good weapons

the code is about to how to get good weapons

Necromancers Weapon

To attain Necromancers ultimate weapon the STROKE OF DEATH please do the following:

Summon one of each of the golems
Cast a bone spirit
Then die.
After you respawn, type in the phrase: THEDARKMUSTFEED Look in your inventory and you will have the Stroke of Death

Paladin weapon

To attain Paladins ultimate weapon the HOLY AVENGER please do the following:
Cast the following spells in this order: Meditation, Prayer, Concentration, Prayer, Prayer, Meditation, Concentration, Medidtation.
Then kill a monster using the spell, Hand Of God
Type: IHAVESERVEDYOU
Look in your inventory and you will have the Holy Avenger!


This is what I found. anybody tell me what the hell it is? if it is real, then what version? thanks for the time. :drink:

I found that a few months ago when I first started playing. I even posted it on one of these also.

I've tried it and it does't work. I tried a whole series of different ways and none of them worked. Either it never worked or it was for an old version. Don't bother wasting your time.

It would be fun to have out a clay, iron, and fire golem at the same time.

Summoning a blood golem would be just plain stupid ;)

Perhaps it is referring to a mod of some sort.

Wait, wait, wait. I think you also need max Weaken for this to work out. Then you hostile your golems and cast Max Weaken on them, and I think you are supposed to die at the hands of the four Max Weaken Golems.

Or, it doesn't work at all.

... it dont work at all... has anyone ever even mentioned those items? Has anyone seen them in any threads not involving this cheat directly? I sure havent. Wouldn't it be somewhere on the numbers of lists involving D2? Wouldn't it be sold at outrageous prices or heavily duped?

Come on... you have to know if something says BEST EVER and youve never seen it, especially if you have seen a lot, then its a fraud.

Even if it was real you still wouldn't see it duped or outrageously priced. Something so easily created would have next to no real value as a trade item.
