Anyway, thanks to Uncleanspirit and Feerie for helping me hit 89. I'm looking for a way to push my resists to 95% currently at 90% with the GA from Feerie.

I decided to do some solo pit runs in public dueling games last night, as I usually do when no one else I play with is on. It was funny listining to the taunting going on by everyone dueling. I usually squelch everyone while running, but decided to listen last night. I was going about my buisness not really finding anything useful, only low end uniques and set items and an Isenhart's armor as usual.

I noticed a certain sorc killing everyone off while I was running in the pits. He/she invited me to join her party while I was still MF'ing. I thought yeah right. Just trying to figure out where I am he/she can PK me. I waited untill I was done and had returned to town and for the fun of it, joined her party, which was me and her. Normally I do not duel as it is not my play style. Everyone was hanging out at the entrance to town as usual, so I decided to go via the Cold Plains WP and jog back, just to see what was going on from a safe distance. Well,, no sooner do I join her and go to the CP WP, she leaves the party and hostiles me. I saw her come on to the edge of me screen from behing me in the Cold Plains, I turned on Vigor ran toward her a little, then switched to Concentration and started spinning hammers. My merc froze her solid, and started carving her up with the Eth Bonehew that I gave him, now socketed with 2 x AMN. One hammer hit later, it was all over. The sorc never had a chance to do anything, not that it would have made a difference, since my resists in hell are now 81/90/90/90.

On the next run, I found a Skullders Ire, a good night for me...:)

Sounds like you had a good night last night. All I'm thinkin about right now while I'm sitting at work is that I have a char sitting in act4 hell waiting to get his hell forge quest. Kind of a shame really, because I have alot of work to get done this week. Geez, Its going to be a long day.

I'd really like to join and I have a lvl 79 orb/blizz sorc (hell). I got a lvl 75 summon necro but he's screwd up. I'm building a hammerdin right now and he's at lvl 19

I only have one problem and it's that I only play on weekends mostly Saturday from 3-7 EST or I from time to time play at 12-1 am EST on weekdays but I rarely go on at those times.

Anyway now that my Hammerdin is at L 90, thanks to Uncleanspirit and Feerie, I am going to take a break from playing him full time and use him for magic find. I have started 2 new accounts one will be for play at some point as my primary one fills up and the other is for storage.

I would call last night was my luckiest night ever since I began to play D2 again. :yep:
I can tell you why.
I now have 10 chars that have done hellforge already, and the results are as follows:

1. Bowazon : Um (Not bad, but this was my very first char since I started D2, I had noone to help me out, and honestly I did not even know what hellforge quest was. All I wanted to do was to reach Hell A5 Ancients so that I could do some baal runs. I ended up with a guy helping me out rushing thru A5 paying my hellforge quest. So, Um => Not mine)

2. Trapsin : Io (Very first disaster began here. by the time this trapsin was at act4 hellforge, I pretty much knew what I was doing and of course was hoping for at least UM + , but sigh....)

3. Skellimancer : Lum (What can I say)

4. Concentration Barb : Io (Another disaster here. 2nd Io)

5. Hammerdin : Fal (Not too bad, highest rune I got off hellforge other than the very firt UM rune which I gave away)

6. Meteorb Sorc : Io ( Well, 3rd disaster)

7. CL/FO Sorc : Io (4th disaster. I got really mad on this one. 2 Io's in a row!)

8. Fury Druid : Io (5th disaster. Uncleanspirit remembers this one clearly. )

9. LF Javazon : Ko (Well better than 5x Io's, but still dissapointing.)

10. Martial Arts Assassin : Gul (Muhahahahahaha At last ! :clap:)

5 Io's out of 10. but I believe the 'Gul' rune compensates rest of the results. yay!

Again thx to Uncleanspirit for your help. Let me know when ur pally gets ready for his hellforge.

Besides, I will also be starting a new Necro. Since I already have a nice skellimancer, I am thinkin about a 'Summoner + Melee' Necro. (Yes, this Necro will not just sit back watching his skellies do his job but will do some serious melee attacks as well.)

Last night feerie helped me test some theories I hd with forge rushing. I had previously leveled a 3 characters to levels 24, 45 and 75 respectively. The idea was to rush a mule to the Hellforge using these characters to propel him through.

my chars:
level 24 - not done normal ancients yet
level 45 - not done normal baal
level 75 - not done nightmare ancients
level 1 - mule rushee

The test went well. Except for a few blunders on my part such as not being able to find the ammy to the staff because mt mule was wearing it :lol: and takiing one of my built chars a little too far.

Here are the results of the rush:

We are not really an active group anymore so we dont really use that channel. We mainly use this thread now to keep tabs on how everyone is doing. If you follow the group rules that were set forth at the beginning of this thread (ie, no hacks), I would be more then willing to do some runs with you. Usufruct keeps a low profile, he is also more or less on the busy side of things at work from what I know. He's on my friend list and I bs with him on occasion.

I was busy on the Realms this weekend. I did a series of Hellforge rushes wither feerie and another friend. I was able to get three hellforges for myself. My results were not that great but feerie had some better luck. The results of the rushes are list below

I'm currently playing with chars along with my main windy and zon. A level 15 melee sorcy, A level 45 Zookeeper, and a level 45 Whirlwind barb. Once I level the sorcy to 24 and the barb to 75. I'll be ready to do another set of rushes.

Also, I'm currently looking for 3 and 4 socketed phase blades. If you find one please hold on to it for me. I want to use the three socket for crescent moon for my avenger and I want to use the four socket for passion for my sorcy. Just think a zealing sorcy. muhahahaha :clap:

If you cant tell I'm getting kind of siked about this sorcy have a general idea about the build:

Finally, Blizzard has announced that the current ladder season will come to an end 'soon'.
I really hate it, when they say 'soon', since you never know when they will actually reset it.
Last time I recall when Blizzard mentioned 'soon' was,
it took them 1+ year to release the 1.10 patch after saying ' we will release 1.10 patch soon'

I hope they reset it within a month at most. (since resetting would be way easier that to making a new patch)
On the other hand, I wouldn't mind if it takes longer to reset it, only if they can actually 'patch' to eliminate all the dupes, bots, mhs .. etc.

Anyways, if the ladder resets, I will try to be on as much as I can. It will be great fun starting all over again from scratch.

This group is not active anymore. But some of us still do some pit/baal runs time to time.
As long as you play legit(no mh, pickit etc), you are always welcom to msg me.

+15 all res Gc is worth around mal rune, and 4skt choas armor is not worth a lot, since it has high str req. Not many ppl use them.

Haven't been around much recently. I've been very busy at work and doing alot of business travel. Hopefully, everyone is doing well and the Diablo Gods have been treating everyone kindly.

I was online last night and met up with feerie. Did some pit runs with him and Alexander.

I've mainly been playing my necro. Sort of doing a test run with him before the ladder resets. Thats what my first char will be when the reset happens.

I also plan on playing alot when the ladder resets hopefully we can all stay close level-wise for a while. This is all dependant on my work schedule and my wife though. I should be on tonight for a good bit. I'll probably be taking my necro through act 5 Hell. No problems so far.
