WW works only with weapon IAS. The hits per whirl are calculated by taking the weapons base speed and subtracting the weapon IAS (ONLY WEAPON IAS), from it. The WW bp's are -10 and -35 forone handed weapons.

lets say you have a weapon base speed of 0.
and you rune the claw up into a Fury claw +40%IAS on the weapon.

0-40 = -40 thus reaching the last frame rate for WW.

i think thats what hes trying to say.

it doesn't work like that. There are 2 breakpoints , -10 and -35 (for 1hand weapons that is). Every weapon has a WSM (Weapon speed modifier) , which ranges from +20 to -60. For WW all IAS on the weapon is counted as EIAS (effective IAS). Effective IAS can be substracted from the WSM.

WSM 0 weapon with 40% IAS on it means it will be a -40 WSM weapon.
(***this only works for whirlwind and shape shift druids***)
