Play with Mad, East = 3 hours ahead of West. I play from 8:00 - Midnight on most days, usually so that's... 2:00- 6:00 in the morn :lol:

I play on afternoons as well so that could be more like 8:00- midnight for you.

You easties were the first to congregrate but have fewer active members methinks. Maybe not actually. Maybe you even have more. Anyway goof job on making your own thread there partnas. Saved me the trouble. hehe.


For the players that play a little earlier, I'm going to start making an effort to play earlier on some nights, so as to meet ya's, and to maybe find some higher populated dueling games. Not too many late night dueling games from what I've seen. Harb and Fats are too good for my weak characters...I need random newbs to come duelin.:-D

Anyway, I'm glad to see this threads, so far, turnin' out well.

yes! I'll be in op FotNF whenever I can. I'll probably be afk in there basically 24/7 too, mostly because its' always nice for someone to come in and see they aren't alone in the channel :D


oh and bb, i'm starting 2 new characters, so I'll be playing with you soon k? I know that recently I've just been concentrating on my nec/sorc/throwbarb, so that's not that fun since they're all real high lvls. But anyways... see you all on bnet!

Sunday is allready "un-officially" diablo night for the group I usually play with. Not becasue we made it that way, just because I usually seem to find everyone on sunday nights...

Organising a certain time or certain times to organize and play could be very helpful to us all. We'll see how this thread develops, I guess...

My skelemancer has been doing great through the first parts of hell. NM was a breeze with skeletons and skele mastery maxed and baal was cake after decrep. Solo'd act 1 of hell but act 2 was it's usual pain in the rear end (teamed up with a sorc and did all of act 2). Act 3 has been a different matter. My lack of resists has reared it's ugly head and I couldn't do travincal alone. Meph is probably impossible as well for now. Guess I'll try to magic find and get enough items for a homonculous for now since I can lvl decently in the pits.

P.S. I don't have a pt in fire golem so I can't gloat about taking down baal with it :P

Thought I'd pop in and say Hi....

Uplifting stories.... Well.... Kbob spawned DC last night in a private game. He called for reinforcements. I entered.... together we were only able to bring him to about 1/3 hp b4 my army was wiped out and we both were out of pots... Kept trying to fight him for about 45 min together.

Finally Necrochild, joined us and together we took him down... I snagged the anni, but gave it to Kbob since it was his game and he swore that I got the next one.

Chars involved.

Peacrusher's - Summon-Wyrm Lvl 87 Necro summoner (duh)
Kbob - MeatOrb Lvl 78 Sorc
Necrochild313 - DarknessProphet Lvl 78 (I think) Bonemancer.

BTW. I switched merc to Eth kelpie :D for kill raised his fire resist to 90 and the slow with CG and my Decrep held DC in one spot the whole time. Merc died only at the end when DC's life bar was a sliver. This was sc ladder also.

Score one victory for USEASTies.... Hope you guys are having success as well.

There's A small story behind that also.

I was watching my Hulk dvd, and soon afterwards saw a pally in channel with it on and figured it would make me look very Hulk like as a bear instead of my Necro.

Just need to find that green helm also(forgot name because I put in over 17 hours today online) and kinda tired. :drink: :buddies:

I miss my old Standard realm characters. They're just sitting there, collecting dust and rust. None of them were actually that good though.

The only 1.09s I took to the end where a conc/WW barb and a Hunter Druid of all things...A bunch of half built janky ill-equipped chars, over 80% Necromancer.:D

Except my bonemancer....he's my best character.:)

I finally traded for an ohm rune... for wayy too much if you ask me. anyways, part of the trade was my ist rune... so now to get my CtA I need to trade for another ist! it's ridiculous, I've been trying forever and can't seem to get this darn CtA thing going hehe.

:rant: I scraped my bone nec. Pretty competitve in PvP, but simply can not beat a good wind druid and trappers are a problem.

Making a Summoner that is going to create as much lag as possible though :). He will be feared in all pubby duels!

Character: PoisonMancer!!! (Just finished him last night and eager for some duels!!!)

Interesting info to share with you:

Well I finished my poison mancer last night and I had a post earlier called poisonmancer golem? Well anyway 50 or so views and no replys, so I decided to do some of my own testing with golem experimentation.
FIND: GUMBY IS NOT THE WAY TO GO!!!! Fire golem has killed people more times then I have!!!! That extra 1 hp cant stand up to the holy fire of the golem :P

Also I have another question for all you west poisonmancers out there :P How have you guys faired in pubby duels? I've done alright (no complaints, I had the most fun I've ever had dueling last night with this guy) Just can't compete with those high life druids though, unless they run and allow themselves to get too 1 life. Poison nova of mine reduces ANY amount of HP so far..... including those big bad 4.5k life druids :D

Anyway:

Lee_Bruse = level 20ish MA assasin looking to level and get to NM, has the whole staff and is in Act2.
TPgemMule = level 50ish Frenzy axe barb having troubles With NM council
ThumbUpMyBum = level 25ish drood, currently no plan on him, but leaning towards WW

To sum up I can quest in normal and nightmare, have fun in hell mf games, rush....

I almost clicked your thread but I've allready sufficiently assessesed overal 1.10 goelm worth and I've pretty much given up on including them as major parts of my necro build. Clay is golem god, for life, slow effect, and low low mana cost so I do not see golems as a debateable build point anymore. Hence my lack of response, sorry about that.

I feel a golem f.a.q comin' on. :evil:

You do however hit on the good point of the fire golems holy fire aura for poison deuling though...I've heard that's pretty useful before and now you verify. Cool.

hi, i use to be a big old fan of the necro, but this patch has just about kill my love for the necro. thay have made them way to overpowered in pvp, and i find pvm more fun now. i have made 3 necros in 1.10 1 poison, 1 summoner and a bone necro. i dont have the poison anymore but i still have the other 2, maybe ill revive 1 to play :scratch: ladder btw

Is it just me or did the realms turn to ***** the moment that I completed Nightmare the day before yesterday? Now I'm getting kicked offline a number of times and I've been killed 4 times when the game had a massive lag and I couldn't do anything but get pissed off.

Well, due to the site not remembering my password...I've decided to just take my account name instead.

Ya...when I had my tooth yanked out, I was all messed up for at least 6 hours, and slept it off.

The 3 guys that I most enjoy having in games( and can trust completely) from our forum are: Fatty, Beat, and my RoadDawg...Hammer. And can't forget 2 of Beat's friends Daeroth and Neo.

It's always great to know that with these guys, you can(and I have) drop anything in a transfer game and come back knowing it is still there. I've transfered my Hoto, enigma, soj..and alot of other things with these guys..and don't have to worry about anything missing.

By far the most trusting group of people that I have been with since I started playing in 1.04. Everyone helps one another and have the most fun when we are in a group doing private rushes or baal runs for the others.

So, yea I called AAA, and they said since my car was running they'd mark it as a "high priority". Yea, that meant 40-50 minutes til a stupid truck got out to my car to unlock it for me. I have been on Europe(because of friends), then spent alot of time on East afterwards(even through my account being hacked) and then decided to go West(and going to stay on West)until I finally do retire.

Ny wasn't all that great when I was there, and paying $5.00 for a buger(that in CA was .99 c) kinda was funny. But, I still with the LV casino's food instead.

New York was pretty cool. I lived out there for a little while. In Manhattan all the buildings create a really different kind of feeling. Some parts of town no building shorter than 5 stories....that was crazy for a guy form Colorado/Las Vegas.

I stayed a short time in San Francisco first so big city stuff wasn't completly new but...New York is weird, rare place. I knida liked it.:) Subways are cool. (not the sandwich but.... :drool: )

Sorry I wasn't on for the past week folks. My wifey took me away for a milestone birthday..... We went to vegas for a few days, then we stayed in Newport for a few more. Before that XP decided that my dialup networking should be dialup notworking... spent a few days with support on that aswell. Anyway now I'm busy redownloading all the security updates, hot fixes, updated drivers, SP1 because of the quasi-drastic measures MS had me take (I was one step away from having my case sent to "research department").

I'm giving much thought about retiring from the game, only reason why I even play now is because of the people like Fatty,Beat,Hammer,Fatty's good bud Terry which are whom I mainly have joined games with from the forum.

Pubby is really boring for me as it is, with all the stupidy that almost everyone shows(and those lame bots) and there just isn't as much fun in it with these thing always showing up and always happening.

If I do retire, I'm going to give all my stuff to the group that I have been with, and let them do what they want with it. This has been the most honest group that I have been with...dropping ohm's,ist's, and enigma's and bramble to transfer around...and not having to worry about stealing or anything when you go back to the game...and everyone help's out everyone.

I'll let you all know soon of my decision.

I will look into starting an additional account and working the mules to make them permanent but to be honest, I just don't have a whole lot of stuff to donate. I normally just dropped and didn't bother to mule.

I had fun on spring break, but I'm glad to be back. I'm starting a new term at OSU, and taking mostly psychology courses, which is really interesting for me, so it should be a great term. And I don't think the homework will be too bad, so that means lots of time for D2!!

Hey I just started ladder alittle while ago and so far I have a lvl 78 Hammerdin a lvl 70 kicksin and my newest project is a lvl 42 Summoner. Most of the people on my friends list play Non ladder and I need to get some more ladder people to play with. Its gettin kinda lonely playin by myself :hanky: . You could do what my friend did, and take an untwinked pure summoner (DRUID!) through hell =D.

Of course, when one of the quest bosses was phys immune (like corpsefire lol) I had to come in and help out a bit. Otherwise, his grizzly smacked his way all the way through hell. It was a grueling process :lol:


Actually tho, I think you should either build a throwbarb (those are always tons of fun for me) or do the mav's set chick. Mav's set is inexpensive (compared to the gris one), way fun and successful.

I hate being in a newb party, I swear to god, how long can these people have been playing?

well first there was a PKer that is the kind that gives all PKs a bad name killing lvl2xs and he had a potty mouth, he hostiled us in chaos sanct, I TPed to town as diablo appeared and as lvl85 baba PK shows, PK kills everyone else and Diablo, I thank him since we all would have died dozens of times killing Diablo he saved us alot of trouble, somebody else gets a lvl 83 sorc and talks trash, and somebody invites the hostile lvl 85 barb that already killed 3 people into the party, genious! atleast I managed to get past shenk and nab the WP before he showed.
