it only took me a few years of playing D2 to notice this...

Ever notice that some of the fetishes the Necro carries, like Sexton or Cantor trophy just happen to bear the same names as those guys who hurl Lightning and Blizzard attacks at you in the Kurast Bazaar areas? Y'know...those guys running around in purple and red mumu's?

Methinks our Necromancer has a taste for their heads in particular, when creating powerful fetishes. Maybe this was the secret to be revealed within the dark passages of Lam Esen's tome? ::cackles softly::

you can find any head on it's original monster (IIRC) they all have a base in the game

I always thought the most interesting was the succubus head. How did our necromancer obtain the head without succumbing to her evil temptations!?!

Ah but come the light of day...the shrill 'ting' of Blackbog's drawn from it's sheath does little to warn the sleeping temptress from hell and with one quick, deft, fell stroke...the trophy's gained and dark magics begin to fill the air.
