polearm/double throw hybrid barb...input would be great

Is there any special name for such a barb? :xsmile3:
This is for pvp by the way and it's main skills is whirlwind/double throw

equipments:
08 arreats face socketed with ber
enigma mageplate
goreriders
40 vit/15 dr verdungo belt
Bloodfist
ring 1: perfect raven frost with 20 dex/250 ar
ring 2:dwarf star?wisp projector?another perfect raven frost?
amulet:highlords
weapon switch 1:Botd great poleaxe
weapon switch 2:2 x cruel winged harpoon of quickness until i get better rare ones

charms:
enough 5fhr/5 all resists sc's to reach 86 fhr[blood fist already gives 30 fhr]
additional life/all resists sc's if resists still arent maxed[after u pump natural resistance and wear your gears which gives + all skills][it is recomended that you overmax your resists a bit to overcome rainbow facets equipped by ur oppoents,conviction,cold mastery,lower resists etc...
1 annihilus sc
remaining spaces filled with 3max/xxar/xxlife sc's

skill points:

warcries:
1 point into howl
1 point into shout
20 points into battle orders

combat masteries
20 points into polearm mastery
20 points into throwing mastery
1 point into increased stamina
1 point into increased speed
1 point into iron skin
1 point into natural resistance

combat skills:
1 point into bash
1 point into double swing
1 point into double throw
1 point into leap
1 point into leap attacks
1 point into stun
1 point into concentrate
1 point into berserk
20 points into whirlwind

total of 94 skills points being used so far which means lvl 82
[12 skill points comes from quests]
additional skill points if i do lvl up higher into
berserk/natural resistance/double swing

stat points:[make sure u have annihilus sc already so u can save stats]
enough str for enigma
enough dex for botd great poleaxe
rest into vitility
energy:base of course

Will have 31% dr
5 fps double throw
12 fps berserk
4 fps whirlwind

what do you guys think?Any comments/input is cool

why no Battle Command? with Battle Order syngries it will last awhile. btw, you have like near imposible gear to get. what are the stats on 1.08 Arreat's Face, i never seen one. Dual Gimmershreds are great for throwing too. you could also make a BotD Eth Zerker/SS instead of greatpolearm. :D

yes you are right i left out battle commands it's like 1 more lvl to bo

stats on 08 arreat face is:
+2 barbarian skills
+30 to life
+1 to combat skills
+ 0.5 max damage per lvl
+25% ehanced defense
15% target def
[this means -15% def from enemy,crucial for throwing since throwing weapons cant have sockets and thus no eth]

Dual Gimmershreds or other throwing weapons arent being used/mentioned is because of range problem...
only javs have good range for throwing
but Dual Gimmershreds are good for pvm

as for why not botd zerker/ss,reason is pretty simple
botd/ss is common mine is unique ^ ^
blocking isnt really as crucial as compared to 1.09 because most pvp players now adays are casters[hammerdins/fohers,blizzard/fireball sorc's,bone nercoes,wind druids,trappers etc]
common melee like smiters ignores blocking/def thus blocking is useless

these reasons made me choose the botd great poleaxe as my choice of weapon as it has a high chance of a 1 hit ko with berserk or 1 whirlwind
defintely better against casters since u wont need shield and damage is king :xears:

great poleaxe does more damage thats why it's being used but giant thresher does have a coolness factor and a faster berserk :xcool:

Well being that alot of people wont go to lvl 90, not to mention 99. But lvls 85-88 are not impossible, I would stick more in shout I think. I mean vs alot of other classes besides barb/paly/and jabzons theres no need. But I like shout for this kinda build.

I clicked doublethrow on my zerk barb 1 time, and if your not fighting the classes mention above, 1 point in DT, and its mastery...you can pretty much tear up all the other magelike classes. Tho a trapsin are like 50/50 there. Some can block, some can't. Its just hard fighting meleers with doublethrow, so you'll prob just use WW there, so thats why I mention maybe take 10 outta DT, and add to shout.

yes adding addtional skill points to shout would be viable too since it's a synergy for berserk and gives more def although it adds less damage and no ar compared to adding more points into berserk.

but adding more points in shout is still good since against melee sins with whirlwind which is common by the way,is very good since whirlwind assn's do not have eth

thanks for your input cyberhawk and if i get a lot more ideas/inputs i'll make a guide on it and probably more on barb vs barb and the typical s/s barb too
