The Wizard Unleashed on Diablo III: Darkness Falls, Heroes Rise page

Blizzard have unleashed the DiabloWikiWizard on the Diablo III: Darkness Falls, Heroes Rise page. As before we get a short story, a spotlight video showcasing the Wizard, a chance to win some cool prizes and the exclusive Class Sigil.

Brilliant practitioners of the arcane arts who deftly wield the energies of fire, ice, lightning, and even time itself in the pursuit of their enigmatic goals. Bedecked in archaic charms, clad in runes, and wrapped in free-flowing robes to allow for the somatic components of their spells, wizards are a veritable thunderstorm of lethal powers who can strike from close or long range. There is no safe way to approach an angry wizard.

  • Seem like Blizzard really isn’t putting much effort into maintaining the gallery/contest. There isn’t a hero everyday and a lot of them aren’t that great. I get the feeling they don’t look at all the submissions and just kind of randomly browse through them. Kinda disappointing. On the other hand, maybe people just aren’t really into it and the submissions are garbage. Who knows :roll:

  • Hm, makes me sad that individual questlines for classes were cut for sake of co-op. This is good set up for a Wizard quest chain that ends with dueling the assassin (perhaps return of Natalya?).

    • Indeed! My first thought was Natalya as well. Perhaps we’ll find Natalya’s journal at some point, detailing her hunt for the wizard? Some kind of small tie-ins for the different classes would be nice, now that Blizzard gave them a story.

  • So does anyone know when that reveal site will open so we get the first sigils that are unobtainable right now :?:
