Big changes lately in Diablo 3. Split-farming fixed, legacy items are no-enchant, legendary item drop buffs, Torment-only legendaries, Nephalem Rifts buffed, and class balance issues. Featuring Flux, Neinball, and Xanth.

  • 0:30 — No more enchanting of “legendary” items. Pros and cons. Both guests are in favor of the change, since it’s more fun to find new gear in RoS than keep using imported stuff. Isn’t it fun to have special items with affixes you can’t get on other gear?
  • 8:00 — What if the devs had just done a clean sweep for a fresh start in Reaper of Souls?
  • 14:20 — And then there were four. Reactions to the newly-announced fourth stash tab after ridiculous OT movie references.
  • 21:30 — Leveling a new character in Reaper of Souls vs. Diablo III. Which game is easier to create a profitable character? RoS gear is harder to get since there’s no Auction House, but at least you don’t need to grind to Paragon 60 to get enough Magic Find to farm effectively.
  • 37:00 — Split farming mostly removed. Did it need to be? Was it really that much of an exploit?
  • 44:20 — Nephalem Rifts issues. Rewards are much improved below Torment, but on Torment+ they are inadequate compared to Bounty farming.
  • 47:50 — Legendary drop rate increase in the recent patch. Have you noticed it while playing? Is Torment’s allegedly-increased legendary drop rate sufficient for the difficulty increase. Imbalances for Wizard’s and Witch Doctors thanks to huge bonuses to ResAll from topaz gems in their armor, which also add enormous INT.
  • 57:10 — Torment-only Legendaries. Good or bad? Both guests like it and think there should be more things that are Torment-only. Plus items should scale up more in quality with each difficulty level. Too easy to exploit it now facerolling on Normal or Hard since they drop the same gear as Expert or Master.
  • 1:03:00 — Crusader as a class; improvements made, fun on the whole, but tweaks still needed in damage and balance output.
