Splash Take 2

The splash screen at Blizzard has changed ever so slightly.  The crack in the centre has become larger so more light now pours through but more interestingly, from our point of view, another rune has appeared.  This time it is a Hel Rune which you can clearly see in the image below.

Here is a list of Runes if you’d like to compare this and any future embellishments.

The first rune isn’t closer to Arthas rune then Shael. Take your time and see it closerly:

Arthas’ have one point of origin that becomes 3 lines.

Shael AND the first rune have one line that branches into other two, AND the original line remains.

I agree, though close comparison shows that thw 1st image more closely resembles a Shael. The central vertical portion of the character is taller in the Shael. The rune on the Frostmourne blade has the curve on the left higher than the central vertical line. I admit its too close to call, but I would guess Shael based strictly on what I am seeing. There can be no denying the next rune is a Hel though. There is nothing on Frostmourne that even remotely resembles this. Unless these are some sort of pre teaser teasers for Blizzcon I cant imagine why they would put Diablo imagery in! You are right tho, tomorrow should make things clearer.

The first image was obviously from frostmourne, the second obviously hel. strong possibility of a tease with both just to drop a sc2 announcement… or dual d3/WotLK… or we are getting hyped up about all this for absolutely no reason, per Blizzard
