Splash Image Article Updated

This article displays all the relevant images, both the splash and the secret ones, along with theories about the images and what Blizzard might be hinting at.  It’s being updated each day when new images/info are released, and it’s your one stop shop for the ongoing mystery. Now that we know something is breaking through the ice, and that the first 3 runes are from Blizzard’s 3 gameworlds… what will tomorrow’s splash image reveal?

My Guess is something relating to Warcraft again. I think Dixx made an astute observation when he said:

So the runes have lined up with the franchises in the order in which they were initially released to the gaming world. The teasers leading up to SC2 had a historical order of games sequence to them.

the numbers from LOST perhaps? 5, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42

if so, they’re probably meant to keep us guessing and have nothing to do with the game being announced.

From what I can tell, the eyes in the splash resembles artwork more of the eyes of WoW:Wrath of the Lich King than Diablo..Hopefully I’m wrong.

I think the “eyes” are just there to make us think: “oohhh, eyes this gotta be cool”. To be honest I think they’er just flakes of snow!

Hmm, take one letter from each pic title; arrange them and DIABLO is still alive. Likely to see a new pic called frost and finally it is blizzard, then we get D from tundra, I from icy, A from cavern, B from blizzard, L from cold, and finally O from frost.
