About porting it to console, I’d say it’s nothing we’d have to worry about. Blizzard has just stated (by answering a question asked) that it is theoreticly possible to make it for Consoles, however they have no plans to do it atleast not right now and they’re focusing on PC. So if there will be a Console version it wont be released at the same time or compromise the PC Version at all. Blizzard is not new on the console scene, they started with console games before they even made PC Games if my memory doesn’t fail me (Rock N Roll Racing, Lost Vikings). Not to mention that Diablo and Starcraft aslo found their way to the consoles, but they never really turned out to be a hit as far as I remember.

So even if there is a Console version, I doubt we have to worry much about the PC Version getting "simplified" or such. So using a petition is just silly in my opinion.

Making it MMO wouldn’t make sense if you ask me. They already got the biggest MMORPG on the market, they’d just be competing with themselves.
