This is an interesting software project by "If Software", where they are making a Doom RPG called DOOM: Fall of Mars in what seems to be a Diablo game clone. It comes ready with 1995 years graphics and everything! It even has the and name display like in Diablo II.
DOOM: FoM is an RPG set in the classic world of Doom. You will fight many demons through the UAC facilities on Mars to the depths of Hell.
The game is still in a very early release and little more than a concept at the moment. Play at your own risk after downloading the latest build at the official page. Still, one does not have to suffer a bug-ridden game just to enjoy some cool pictures:
