Fourth Class Revealed? Monk

It appears that perhaps the Korean Blizzard website may have let the cat out of the bag. A screenshot of the character selection screen indeed shows a 4th class which appears to be a Monk. No details, confirmation or denial has come from Blizzcon yet.

Makes sense, if true. Seeing as two casters and one melee character have already been announced, the remaning two characters are likely a rogue/assassin-esque melee character and a ranger/tracker ranged character. The monk fits the former role nicely. I guess more remains to be seen/heard at Blizzcon.

Yeah saw it on the official forums. Also man this place must be being slammed. Took me 15 or more minutes just to get into here.

I’m hoping that this monk is a real kung fu master (with kicks and flips and so forth) and not just a boxer in Eastern clothing as per most RPGs.

I’ve never played a monk that I didn’t enjoy. I thought I was going to be playing a WD when D3 is released, but that might have changed today.

Word has it the monk class was just announced at Blizzcon, so it’s official.

yup, that pretty much rules out any other malee chara, at least in the basic game, actually i doubt a bit now that the last chara will be bow oriented…
and yup, the site is jammed as hell
you can check it out at the diablo official page, if you can get there…
