Fallen Screenshots

Posted 24th May 2009 04:20 AM by Flux

In addition to the cool concept art and game lore about the Fallen that we posted yesterday, there were also three new screenshots showing the various types of Fallen in action. These are 3 of the better shots we’ve seen yet, with good action, a variety of monsters, the first male wizard screenshot, and that great tapestry/carpet dangling over the abyss into which an Overseer and Hound have just plummeted. If you’ve not taken a good look yet, click and study the details. The following thumbs link to the full size 2048×1536 shots.

The hounds feel more like horses to me, for some weird reason… And by the way, there seems to be a fallen wizard right behind the wizard, in the second screenshot.

Yes, a Male Wizard with a v-neck and “cleavage”.

I guess they want to give the feeling that the classes come from different cultures, and therefore their gear have different cuts.

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but notice how the blue blood on the second picture seems to be flowing down the staircase?

I’ll go with male wizard on that shot. Updated the caption too. He’s in different colored clothing, the chest-baring robe is like his concept art, and there’s no swell of breast visible in the shot, despite the sideways chest angle. That’s the ultimate proof; as a glance at any WoW image demonstrates, Blizzard never misses a chance to emphasize the characteristics that demonstrate the sexual dimorphism of the human female.
