Diablo III Announced

Posted 28th Jun 2008 12:35 PM by Flux

The blizzard splash image refreshed to a sexy flash animation with the announcement we’ve all been waiting for, seconds after the official announcement was made at WWI. Here’s a still shot of the new logo face.  The official site is live, though it’s having loading problems right now, from heavy traffic.

Don’t forget to keep an eye on our WWI 2008 Coverage page where we are linking all our event goodies.

After keeping myself away from D2 for the whole last season, this news is worth everything to drag me back! This must be one of the best days for as long as I can remember. Cheers!!!

Haha.
I saw this about 10 minutes or so ago.
I created a Diablo II game called DIABLO III.
Description was ‘Go to Blizzard.com. Trust me’
Had all kinds of WoW and StarCraft fans come in and flame me.
‘In the end you are wrong blah blah’
They should have checked Blizz.com before spamming me wink
I was right.
THANK YOU BLIZZARD.
IVE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS, AND SO HAS EVERYONE ELSE.
WE LOVE YOU

The live Blizzard D3 site is finally up:
http://www.blizzard.com/diablo3/

For those who couldn’t get streaming, the cinematic trailer and the gameplaye trailer are both there - seems to be the same content shown at the event. Honestly, they should have skipped the crappy streaming and just given us the real video. X( Anyway, go check it out.
