Diablo II Patch 1.13 Community Wish List

Posted 3rd Mar 2009 06:31 PM by Medievaldragon

Bashiok invites all Diablo II players to share their ideas. It is probably the first time the Diablo II community has the opportunity to become involved in the development of a patch with plenty of heads up. What changes or features do you wish to see in patch 1.13 ?

Blizzard Quote:
We’re in the process of working on Diablo II content patch 1.13, and we want to try to include the Diablo community’s most important changes in our production schedule. To achieve this we’re asking for your input on what you’d like to see in this patch. However, we’re making it a bit stricter than a full-blown wish list.

If you were to get an advance look at the patch notes for Diablo II 1.13, what is the one patch note you would want to see?

Our goal is to get an overall sense of the single most important request from every member of the community. We want as many posts as we can get for the largest cross section, so if you have friends who used to play Diablo II or just don’t frequent the forums as much as you do, let them know this is here so we can get their “#1 patch note” too.

Please be mindful that we’re not going to be able to make every change mentioned, but hopefully with your feedback we can prioritize and do our best to cover as much as possible.

This thread is locked on purpose. To participate in this feedback collection please visit the main thread. This link will redirect you to our Battle.net forums and will require a valid Battle.net account and CD-Key to post

This is good news for the development of D3. Blizzard want to see what players want done better in D2 (and therefore D3). They are opening up for suggestions and maybe this way they’ll find some “fixs” that they could implant in D3 as well as D2 like manual stats that actually work.

For the love of… every time they do this I get re-addicted.  At this rate, I’m never going to be able to uninstall D2.

Bah I don’t care about that.  Nerf the hammerdins.  Nerf them back to the hell that spawned them.

Yeah I was replying to Mizantrop but I didn’t realize it goes oldest to newest.  Oh well.

Question. Have they made the game fully compatible with Vista yet?

I remember when vista first came out I had to help a friend get it to work on their computer.

I am getting a new computer with my first Vista system. Will Vista still give this game problems?

Thanks smile

Awesome! This could even get me back to D2 for a while, lol. :D

I’m too out of the loop to suggest anything in particular though, I’ll let the regular gamers decide that. smile

umm yes if one thing had to change… fix the whole hammerdin thing. i remember when it was okay to use a zon or sorc or barb because with right things they kill all kill the same. now its nothing but people going on online sites, buying full sets of gear (sometimes whole characters), and just making bots to run through the games. i mean its great for experience leaching cause they make tons of games in sequence, but its kind of killing the whole teamwork aspect of things. my advice, get people in there to find out what accounts are doin these runs with bots and start banning, as you did a few years ago when everyone had bots with sorc doin meph runs. something needs to change before its nothing but paladins!

I think so many people will say nerf the hdins that I’m going to choose something else…

Make fend and w/e else uninteruptable when passives (dodge, etc) go off, make warmth properly synergize with inferno, etc.

In other words, fix these builds so that ppl can use them again.
