Randomization and level design in the future of Diablo 3
Creating good random map generators is a difficult task in video games, and something we’ve seen done with relative success in all of the Diablo games. Diablo Fan Art Watch #182: Heroic Valor and Demonic Deceit

Posted 1 Mar 2013 by

Welcome friends to the latest installment of the Diablo Fan Art Watch. This week we bring you four incredible pieces from around the community; so without much further delay let’s begin.

First off this week we begin with a nice piece featuring the Archangel of Valor using his spear – Solarion; Spear of Valor. Imperius by tnounsy is an awesome piece of work showing great lighting.

Next up we have Leoric: The Skeleton King by Marco Alvares. This piece with some style done shows the skelton king on his throne as zombies come towards the king on his throne.

Following from there a Barbarian by Ksottam comes in and dethrones Leoric and sets on his throne decked out in powerful gear and the details and armor here are awesome and a great addition to the gallery.

Lastly we leave Leoric’s dilapidated throne room and find the Lord of Terror more lady like in Leah the Diablo Girl by bongbaba. This piece shows Diablo with more feminine looks and more Leah-like than full on demon we hate Terroaring about.
