Everything about Legendary Gems in this two-part show. LGem basics, how they’re found and upgraded, why they are so awesome, and then detailed discussion of the best builds, upgrade values, and uses for every gem. Featuring Katniss, Ynzerg, and Flux. Checking the blue tracker today and a reply from Lylirra caught my eye. I thought it would make a good topic for a vote, so I read over the first ten pages, tabulating how often specific complaints came up. Of course more replies treated the “single biggest issue” part like old people treat the “ten […]

Check Out the New Blizzard Concept Art GalleryPosted 24 Apr 2010 by
Bashiok resurrected the @Diablo Twitter feed to announce that Blizzard has added a new concept art gallery to their official website. It’s only concept art; no screenshots or cinematic shots. Plus,
putting it a very welcome step above just like their fan art gallery, you can sort the images by game world, to concentrate your visual powers entirely upon Diablo, Warcraft, or Starcraft eye candy.
Sadly, none of the Diablo concept pieces are new, (would it have killed you guys to sneak in a fresh image on like, page seven?) but it’s all the high quality stuff we’ve come to expect of the Blizzard artists. There are even a few old pieces of Diablo 2 monster concept art, back on the second to last page.
I am duty bound to point out that we have every piece of concept art on this page, plus lots more not featured there, in our various Diablo 3 character, monster, and environment, and item art galleries, plus Diablo 1 & 2 character and monster art galleries as well. But more places to view Blizzard’s great art is always a good thing. Some D3 concept samples below, because I enjoy looking through it myself.
Update: Some intern must have spent a few hours adding category tags, since Blizzard has also added game world sorting to their Fan Art Gallery, at last making it possible to view the Diablo stuff without wading through eleventeen pages of pointy-eared purple babes in metal bikinis. (Not that I entirely disliked that chore, to be honest.) I’ll also point out that every piece of Diablo fan art posted on Blizzard is in our Diablo 1 & 2 or D3 Fan Art Gallery, plus hundreds of other pieces as well, for your viewing pleasure.
