Caption This #5: Scenic Sea Scape

Posted 9th Jan 2009 05:16 PM by Flux

We ran a few “Caption This” contests back in the Fall, and have been looking to post some more just for fun, but none of the screenshots or pieces of concept art Blizzard has released have been suitable for the joking, sarcastic, fun-for-all captions this sort of occasion demands. This one still isn’t perfect, but it’s good enough to break the “caption this” drought.  Throw your caption into the comments; no prizes on this one, other than glory and eminence in the eyes of your fellow forum goers/Diablo 3 fans.  This is a cropped version of the very large image: click it to see it full glorious size.

We call that boat there “stat allocation” it’s the second boat to sink here in D Three Lake, the last one was called “the necromancer”. We lost many allies in this recent tragedy, let’s hope “8 player games” does not succumb to the same fate.

“Here you can see why we don’t make houses out of small, numerous materials like bricks or tiles anymore. We’ll be rebuilding with large stones and whole tree logs shortly”

“What happened?”

“Well, as soon as the adventurers found out the stuff stacks in their inventory, they figured if they grabbed enough they could turn a profit in the next town over”

‘Doesn’t the riveting realness of this tattered triangle flag, dim-lit torch, and fog-shrouded climate give this place a real homey touch!?!’
