BlizzBlues.com is Finally Here

Posted 14th Jan 2009 12:13 PM by Leord

Our friend and owner of the very useful WoWBlues.com, Wuushu, has recently finished a site dedicated for Battle.net blues, named BlizzBlues.com.

While there are several “blue trackers” out there, WoWBlues quickly became the favourite of many fansite webmasters, bloggers, news editors and the regular WoW-fans that had heard of it. We are very excited that Wuushu decided to make a version for all the Blizzard fans that also like other games by the boys in blue.

We’ll naturally keep an eye on anything interesting popping up, but if you want to have first hand info from the blue posts on WoW or Battle.net forums, check out BlizzBlues.com!

Lol, no Diii.net will stay at Diii.net for the foreseeable future. As I said, Wuushu is a friend, and that’s his site. It can be said to be part of the IncGamers’ network, but it’s his site through and through and we don’t really have anything to say on what goes on it, more than a friend has to another =)

It’s awesome though, and comes with high recommendations!

So glad that this is available. Thank you for your hard work Wuushu.

However, I really don’t understand why the official battle.net forums don’t have a dev tracker in the first place.  I went the route of EQII instead of WoW for the last few years and never visited the official forums back when I played Diablo, DII, Warcraft, and dabbled in Starcraft so this has been my first exposure to the Blizzard run forums.  I was shocked that a dev tracker was not implemented since it was such a staple of my interaction with the Sony EQ forums.

Anyone have a clue why Blizzard hasn’t added this simple feature?

Yeah, that’s true, but to some degree, I can understand why they don’t, as there are sites dedicated to that, like BlizzBlues.com, and Blizzard likes to have a balance between the services they do provide, and what they leave to the community. Remember, they often recruit from the community when fans do extraordinary things…

You can see it as a growing ground for a creative community that can be useful for the company! =)

In the meanwhile, I’d also like to thank Wuushu! =)

Thanks for the comments, appreciated! I’m also with Kalara of questioning the official lack of bluetracker, but I guess one possible reason could be that what Leord points out.. Blizzard works in mysterious ways. smile
