“Ability to champion an established art style and re-imagine/improve it within a new context”

Doesn’t that imply that this game will be a sequel to one already released?

Ok, I know what everyone is thinking, so I’ll just go ahead and say it: is Blizzard starting to develop StarCraft - Ghost again!?

That’s a really good catch, but at the same time it may just mean the “Blizzard art style”.

They would probably be using the D3 engine if they were making a D3 expansion.  It’s also pretty unlikely that they’d be working on an expansion to a game that isn’t even out yet.

I also think that they refer to the ‘blizzard style’, which I am a bit bored of at the moment.

But, since they are looking for a lead artist, it definately means that the development is in the extreme early stages. Probably only on concept level.
