Bashiok is n00b. So if YOU can let him know that i would appreciate that. After 1.13 is released our questions will already be answered. Is this guy for real? He’s a joke and Blizzard seems like a bunch of sissy’s when it comes to questions. What is the point of having interviews or asking us to ask questions when they always ignore the question completely or always say “we’re not sure yet”  There are very very few questions that they have actually answered.

I know whats going to happen, all you guys are going to bash me because you’re all loyal fanboys. So go ahead i dont mind, but face it, Im right.

I’m not going to bash you DeusEx, cept you didn’t give bliz a way to win with your commentary. :( It’s good and bad news, a least the info is coming through now. I’m looking forward to hearing those replies too as I was one of the many people whom contributed.

Edit: And if anything make one look like a fanboy its over excitement.

The list of questions I submitted to Blizzard via Bashiok is attached to the original post. Of them, maybe 5 or 6 might be answered by v1.13, since the questions aren’t about specific patch changes. I didn’t see any point in asking those questions because… they’d all have been answered by the patch. Funny how that works.

I know that being yelled at by frustrated fans is part of the job description for a CM, but that doesn’t make the person doing the yelling any less foolish. You know Bashiok’s not Mike Morhaime or Rob Pardo. He can’t just say whatever he wants. He’s CM working under fairly strict rules about what sort information he can disclose. Insulting him for not giving you secret information is like yelling at the McDonald’s cashier for not serving you Peking Duck.  (No offense intended to cashiers, CMs, or Peking Ducks.)

Yes, Bashiok’s job is hard.  He gets asked a question, knows the answer, but has to respond with PR-speak to portray a position of “rainbows and unicorns” until he’s allowed to provide the real answer—which in this case is, “There will not be much, if any, D2 development post patch 1.13”.

I realize his job is hard, but he’s still a n00b. I hope he knows that. I am a fan of diablo but not a hardcore fan, I know i will buy the game no doubt whether or not blizzard wants me to buy it after my comments about n00bshiok.

But i come to check in from time to time on news and all i see is different questions being asked with the same BS answers we already heard 20 times. Or “yea, we thought about it but we arnt sure what we’re going to do in the end” Flux, you make some good points and i enjoy (sometimes) reading your articles when i get the chance, but i know for a fact YOU TOO are tired of hearing the same BS from blizzard. You just technically cant say it out loud. And i understand that. Everyone who is a fan of the diablo serious is a bit upset or at least frustrated with blizzard about Diablo III.  Blizzard should seriously man up!

Well, we can always look back at my post in the last P. 1.13 toppic. There I predicted a pesimistic, reallistic and optimistic future of d2. In short: no patch, one more patch, maybe 2 more patches after 1.13.

And yes, Bashiok is like a sapper - one lie to fans and he’s the “omglolwhatanoooooob”-training-bag for angry fans. I, and probably most of us, do understand that not all can and should be said, but sometimes in his quests to say as little as possible, Bash just makes idiots out of people. And that is something that deserves scolding, even when it turns to noobing him around. Don’t get me wrong - I don’t like the idea of telling people nasty things, but on the other hand I can’t stand being treated like a moron by some PR, just because it is his/hers job to diss people and treat them like daft.
