Bashiok on "Naked" Female Witch Doctors

As happened in our thread about the newest d3 screenshots, there were questions on the b.net forums about the star of the new shot from Tristram(?), since it/he/she looks strangely naked and light-skinned. Bashiok jumped into the thread to clear up that confusion, while adding a bit of mystery as well.

What is the most interesting part of the screenshot? The setting? The well? The badger-looking Scavengers? He didn’t say. The shot in question is attached below.

Also, it is at night. I am not sure if it has been mentioned before if D3 had a day/night cycle. At least i don’t remember it.

You guys got it all wrong.

The most interesting part is that the pit is broken and no water flows anymore. We cleansed its water for NOTHING.

It seems to me that this corpse at the top of the screen is actually another player. New class if you ask me. I think I’ve seen something (someone) like this on one of the early screenshots.
I could ALMOST bet my money on it.

Might be a "follower" or hireling NPC but i hope it’s new character class

I will have to agree with some of the previous members post. A few interesting features that I can see.

1) Night scene with fog and wind.
2) The dead warrior at the top that looks to be a dwarf or some sort of a human warrior half breed. Could be a teaser of the next class.
3) The fact your character can be naked lol

Only time will tell. I only hope that since no other class from the previous Diablo games are going to be in D III, that Blizzard will make up for it with good classes. I guess you can’t get any useless or worse than the assasin class. IMO she had no meaning or worth in the Diablo Universe. At least the other characters had purpose.

That well over there means that its in Tristram. Or is that established already?

@Kenno : Actually it looked like more a pit in D1. And I don’t recall to have seen a well in D2. And building moved around from D1 to D2, so basically this could be anywhere.

I personally don’t think it’s Tristram cus there will have this new town (with NPCs and no monsters I guess) called New Tristram.

@Gamekk ... Maybe be this area will be called "old Tristram" and will be filled with monsters and destroyed buildings ... but nearby it exists the new town called "New Tristram" as a town with NPCs and no monsters.

Just thought about another possibility for interest in this picture; since the WD is light-skinned and in past WD pics she is dark-skinned, we might see some customization options for the look of the chars.
