Additional Confirmations (just for the sake of it)

Just in case you missed the fact that it IS actually a Game Announcement on Saturday, or perhaps for unknown reasons would be unsure about that, here is an additional hint from VE3D:

So I was chatting with Blizzard’s PR types last night about those teaser page rumors. To be brutually honest I was mean to them. Really mean. I think I actually questioned their manhoods at one point. Remind me to never take one of those jobs ever, thanks. Needless to say—there should be a new Blizzard game announcement soon… No hard feelings! (grin)

This "hint" has absolutely nothing to do with Diablo. Now I’m starting to doubt the "D3 Announcement AT WWI" posted yesterday…

Dunno about the “additional confirmations”, but you’re definitely missing the fact that you only have to hit the “post” button once.  :whistling:

Rushster, I’m afraid I have to agree with the others here…I don’t see how we can possibly view that blurb as “confirmation”.  And it worries me, because I’ve been defending you both on Battle.net forums and my own website, saying you wouldn’t be making statements like this unless you knew what you were talking about.

How ‘bout giving us a few more concrete hints?

Ok, I’m afraid I have to clear this up. It was ME who posted this. It seems Rush was logged in on my PC previously or something, as it was not my intention to use his account at any turn. I have not made any other posts or action on his account. Terribly sorry. He is currently travelling to Paris.

The previous statements were made with sources I have not been in contact with myself, but Rush is positive, or else he would not have posted it, and his word is good enough for me. He wouldn’t say if he wasn’t sure.

In turn of THIS thread, I do actually put a level of trust in VE3D as well, and seeing as we already know the answer, it doesn’t seem unlikely they managed to squirm something out of the PR department. I can’t believe they would lie in either way.

It’s only posted as a mean of an additional piece of information regarding WWI, and I would put greater trust in Rushster’s previous post than this one, if that is a concern of yours.

Sorry for double post, I can’t seem to edit o.O

This sentence could be misinterpreted, I realized:

He wouldn’t say if he wasn’t sure.

He wouldn’t have said it, unless he was sure.

Also, Donsta’s double post is probably just due to the immense stress of the site at the moment, I have seen more double posts here and there.

Ok, so after this debacle, I return to my own homestead at StarCraftWire.net =P

Leord, the thing is that the only confirmation about the quoted text is that there will be a new game announcement, but we already knew that straight from blizzard! And although i do believe the game will be diablo 3, the above text is not confirmation about it. What is really the point of the post is really beyond me.

I’ll give you the benefit of doubt only because it’s Diablo’s anniversary and I don’t think blizzard would announce anything else besides Diablo on this day.

Blizzard’s announcement means squat. We’ll see the game in 5 years if we’re lucky. By that time, it will look dated like Starcraft 2.
